Thanks to an overwhelming response, the contracted room block for
attendees at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for the 23rd
Annual CHADD International Conference in Orlando, Florida sold out. But,
CHADD has contracted a second block of rooms at the following Disney
properties:
•Disney’s Polynesian Resort at $230
plus tax per night, single/double. The monorail runs from the Polynesian
to the Contemporary, our headquarters hotel.
•Disney's Wilderness Lodge at $200 plus tax
per night, single/double. The Wilderness Lodge has a ferry to the
Contemporary, our headquarters hotel. The Ferry runs every 30 minutes,
from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Or, a 5-minute taxi ride.
•Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort at $140
plus tax per night, single/double. For your convenience, CHADD will
arrange a shuttle to our headquarters hotel, the Contemporary, in the
mornings and from the Contemporary to the Caribbean Beach Resort in the
evening on the following dates: November 10, 11 and 12. Disney's
Caribbean Beach Resort will provide a rebate to CHADD to cover the cost
of shuttle transportation.
Disney’s Magical
Express: Booking with a Disney property will provide you
complimentary shuttle and luggage service from and to the
airport.

Disney's Magical Express: Airport Shuttle, Ground
Transportation and Luggage Service
Transportation to and from Disney's Contemporary Resort and Orlando
International Airport is complimentary on Disney’s Magical
Express for Resort hotel Guests. Disney picks you up
and takes you from Orlando International Airport to the Resort, while
our "hands-free" luggage service delivers your bags from the plane
directly to your room. Departing is also a breeze with in-hotel boarding
pass service and return shuttle to the Orlando International Airport.
Reservations are required. We recommend you make your reservations at

Destinations throughout Walt Disney World Resort, including Disney Theme

monorail.
Complimentary transportation is available one hour prior to Disney
Theme Park opening time up to 3 hours after Disney Theme Park closing

Roommate Service:
Traveling alone? Share
the cost of accommodations with another attendee and save big!
We’ll provide you with a list of people who wish to share a
room. To add your name to or obtain a copy of the roommate list,
contact Megan_Feeley@chadd.org or call the CHADD
conference department at 301-306-7070, ext. 108. We supply the
name, you make the choice.
Registration Confirmation and On Site Badges:
All who register via the
internet will receive an email confirmation. Other registrations will be
notified via postal mail by October 29. Upon arrival at the Disney
Contemporary Resort, please follow signs to the CHADD Registration area
and come to the booth marked pre registration where you
will receive your conference packet and badge. Please bring your
confirmation letter with you.
Attendees who do not receive a confirmation letter may pick up their
badges and materials at the CHADD onsite registration
desk. Display of conference badge is required for admission to all
conference sessions, activities and exhibit hall.
On-Site/Walk-in
Registration
Conference Registration facilities
will be maintained at the Disney Contemporary Resort. Payment of
onsite registration may be made by check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or
American Express. No cash payment will be accepted onsite. Walk-in
registrations will be taken on a space available basis.
Registration Categories
General Conference
Registration includes access to all conference aactivities as
outlined in the program materials: Thursday Grand
Opening Exhibit Hall Reception and Opening Plenary (General) Session;
Friday and Saturday research symposia, concurrent
sessions, exhibit hall, plenary (general) sessions and networking
sessions.
Pre-Conference Institutes present in-depth information
of specific interest to health and mental health professionals,
educators, attorneys, advocates, families, caregivers, partners, adults,
and young adults with ADHD. Available at any additional fee (unless
otherwise noted), Institutes provide an opportunity to sharpen
knowledge, meet colleagues, and obtain CE/CEU credits.
One Day Registration
provides an opportunity for those who are unable to attend the general
conference in its entirety. One day registrants may pick up registration
materials on the morning of their valid one-day registration, or after
3:00 p.m. on the day before their one-day registration.
Attire
Business casual – tie or jacket is not required
– but please no jeans. Reminder: Meeting room temperatures and
personal comfort ranges vary widely. Because meeting rooms may seem
cold, you may want to dress in layers and bring a sweater or a jacket.
We recommend that you wear comfortable walking shoes.
Private Social Function Policy
Social functions at which attendance is restricted to
verbal or written invitations are not permitted to occur during any
official CHADD activity. Hospitality suites and hosted events must be
approved in advance by CHADD. CHADD reserves the right to postpone or
delay any function conflicting with an official CHADD activity. Anyone
hosting such events must receive prior approval and register their
function(s) at the exhibitor counter in the registration area.
People with Disabilites
CHADD strives to hold meetings that are accessible to
all. Please tell us what you require to help make your participation
more enjoyable and meaningful. Any information regarding your disability
will remain confidential. Because many accommodations require early
planning, requests should be made as soon as possible. Special requests
received onsite or less than three weeks before the conference cannot be
guaranteed; however, every attempt will be made to accommodate your
needs.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in
writing and must be postmarked by October 15, 2011 to qualify for a
refund. A $50 administrative fee will be deducted from the total
registration fee. Substitutes are always welcomed and no-shows will be
billed. You may transfer your registration fee, minus the $50
cancellation fee, to another individual by mailing or faxing a written
request stating the person's name and address. CHADD will contact you
both should additional fees apply to the new registrant. All
transfers must be postmarked by October 15, 2011. All refunds will be
processed after the conference.
