In this second session of our educational series, sponsored by Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, you will learn to define the problems at home that are creating challenges parenting your child with ADHD. Caroline, the mother of a child with ADHD, will help you understand the things that are creating chaos and stress. Her presentation will help all parents learn more about ADHD.
Caroline Maguire, PCC, ACCG, M.Ed., is a personal coach who works with children with a diagnosis of ADHD and the families who support them. Caroline is a graduate of the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA), and the Director of the Fundamentals of ADHD Coaching for Families Program.
In addition to her private practice, Caroline also speaks at various venues throughout the world on topics related to coaching children and young adults with ADHD, LD, or social skills challenges.
Following this session, we will:
- Describe strategies and treatment options that help with everyday parenting challenges, including distractibility, impulsivity, procrastination, and organization.
- Apply what has been learned in previous sessions to set realistic goals to reduce challenges with parenting your child with ADHD.
- Discover communication and interpersonal skills to resolve conflict with your child.
