People with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can have difficulty with attention and memory. To some people, this may make them seem less intelligent than average. On the other hand, they can also appear smarter that others because of their enhanced powers of observation and the ability to hyperfocus on topics of interest.
