Adults With Migraine Have Higher Prevalence of ADHD and Impulsivity Symptoms
Adults with migraine have a higher prevalence of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) symptoms and a higher impulsive personality trait score, according to results of a study published in the Journal of Attention Disorders. While it has been commonly reported that individuals with ADHD have an increased occurrence of migraine, the inverse of this relationship — ADHD symptoms in migraine patients — has not been thoroughly explored.
