CBT Must Be Adapted for Adults With ADHD

Research on CBT for adult ADHD included assurances that study therapists were appropriately adapting it. A recent study from the UK used adult ADHD clients' feedback on their experiences in CBT in community care. When not adequately adapted and conducted by therapists unfamiliar with adult ADHD, clients do not benefit.
