In Defense Of Wealthy Students Who Get Extra Time On The SAT
The takeaway: that an increasing number of students are getting 504 accommodations and extended time on the ACT and SAT, and that a disproportionate number of these students are from wealthy school districts...However, the students I work with who do receive accommodations (not as many as you might think) have very obvious and real problems that impact their lives far beyond standardized tests.
