Parental T1D Increases Risk of Child’s ADHD Diagnosis
Children whose parents have type 1 diabetes (T1D) face a 29% higher risk of being diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), according to new research. The findings are the result of a new retrospective cohort study by Swedish researchers, who examined the records of more than 15,000 patients.
