Strengthening Your Job Search: Practical Steps to Make Applying and Getting Started Less Overwhelming

This session will help participants use simple organizational strategies and digital tools to manage their job applications more effectively. Participants will learn how to stay accurate when completing forms, spot and correct mistakes, and choose the best way to follow up after applying. Participants will also explore how to build a personalized system that works with their ADHD, making the job-application process easier and reducing common errors.
Participants will be able to:
- apply simple motivation strategies to finish job applications, even when the outcome is uncertain.
- organize several job applications at the same time using tools and routines that are easy to follow.
- demonstrate accuracy by checking their applications and following all instructions step by step.
- evaluate any mistakes they notice after applying and take the right next steps.
- determine if, when, and how to follow up on an application in a clear and professional way.
