There are so many benefits to having ADHD, and there are also challenges for both the person with ADHD and those who love and support them. I have over twenty years of experience as a teacher, elementary school principal, and special education administrator, as well as an intimate understanding of the psychological toll that comes from a lifetime of living with ADHD because I, too, have ADHD.
