A lot of adults struggle with the symptoms of ADHD as they go through new stages and transitions of their lives. School and young adulthood had more structure and less responsibility that allowed for an "easier" navigation of ADHD symptoms. As adults, we have romantic relationships, families, and a ton more responsibilities of managing households and careers. We spend most of our day putting out fires without time for meaningful tasks that are aligned with our personal or professional values. For the past ten plus years I have helped overwhelmed, burned out adults and couples re-focus and gain traction in their personal and professional lives so they can feel accomplished and have time to pursue those meaningful ventures that their creative brains come up with.
