Unfurling Ferns Therapy offers ADHD evaluations and therapy for adults and teens (14+) across Oregon. Services include comprehensive ADHD assessments for adults, with a narrative, strengths-based approach that centers lived experience rather than checklists alone. Evaluations integrate clinical interviews, developmental history, executive functioning, sensory patterns, and emotional regulation, with care taken to distinguish ADHD from trauma, anxiety, depression, and Autism when relevant. Clients receive a clear, individualized understanding of their neurotype along with practical recommendations for daily life, work, and relationships. Before opening the practice, Fennel completed two years of specialized clinical training in an ADHD-focused outpatient clinic, working closely with neurodivergent adults and adolescents and developing a strong foundation in differential diagnosis and assessment. Therapy is relational, depth-oriented, and neurodivergent-affirming. Sessions offer a steady space to explore identity, burnout, masking, self-esteem, and emotional overwhelm, alongside concrete strategies for organization, energy management, and follow-through. Unfurling Ferns Therapy specializes in working with populations that are often overlooked or misdiagnosed, including AFAB adults, high-masking individuals, LGBTQIA+ clients, BIPOC clients, and others whose experiences have historically been under-recognized in ADHD care.
