Individual,couples,cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Melinda White is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has worked extensively with adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, social phobia, panic disorder, and OCD. Her focus with children has been on ADHD and anxiety. She served two years as the Educational Coordinator for the U.C. Berkeley site of the National Institute of Mental Health's multimodal treatment study of ADHD. She has written several articles about adult ADHD which are featured on her website and have been published in numerous ADHD publications. She was a special education teacher for 15 years and has a life credential as a learning disability specialist. She is a founding fellow of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and has been an affiliate of the San Francisco Bay Area Center of Cognitive Therapy. She is currently in private practice in Berkeley, California.
