They are constantly moving- whether its touching, licking, or fidgeting. You’re starting to get notes home from school that your child is not listening, distracting others or not paying attention. The anger feels non-stop. Every little thing could cause an explosion. It’s as if your child is a ticking time bomb, and you’re always at the receiving end. I love working with out of control children and teens and overwhelmed parents. I am passionate about supporting those with Autism, Aspergers, ADHD, and Twice Exceptionals ages 6-13.

Licenses & Accreditations I am licensed in North Carolina (LPC) and previously in Florida (LMHC). I earned my Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida and moved to Charlotte in 2016. Being dual-licensed means I had to prove twice that I am competent as a counselor. It took years of graduate studies and three additional years of supervision to meet those credentials. I have been licensed since that time. I am also a Registered Play Therapist. This requires an additional 150 hours of graduate studies and an additional year of supervision. This certification is an additional training completed by counselors who specialize in working with children ages 3-8. Lastly, I am in the process of becoming certified as a Sand Tray Therapist.
