At The Parents and Children Project, we offer compassionate, integrated support for children, teens, adults, and families navigating ADHD and executive functioning challenges. Our "whole-family" approach combines psychotherapy, parent coaching, and educational advocacy to provide practical tools for home, school, and life. We understand that executive functioning challenges and ADHD impact the entire family system, which is why our services are designed to be collaborative, trauma-informed, and neurodivergent-affirming, providing wraparound care that addresses the whole person, not just a diagnosis. Our psychotherapy services provide neurodivergent-affirming mental health support to help clients build skills, manage emotions, and thrive. This includes individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, where we develop coping strategies, manage time, and build self-esteem. We also provide expert help for the anxiety, depression, and trauma that can often accompany ADHD. We offer specialized therapy for navigating high-demand transitions that rely heavily on executive skills, such as adjusting to college, while using a family systems approach to improve communication and establish effective routines at home. In addition to individual work, we offer Executive Functioning Cohorts, which are supportive, skills-based groups for neurodivergent teens and adults. We believe that understanding *why* your brain works the way it does is the first step to building skills that stick. These cohorts are a compassionate community where we focus on providing clear, accessible information on brain function and the neuroscience behind executive functioning. We help members develop and practice real-world management skills for time, organization, and emotional regulation. This entire approach is rooted in self-compassion, helping members unlearn shame and build a sustainable, accepting relationship with themselves while developing new skills alongside peers with shared lived experiences. Since these challenges often extend into the classroom, our educational advocacy provides expert guidance to ensure your child is seen, supported, and successful. We offer comprehensive review and expert feedback on 504 plans and IEPs, ensuring your child receives the specific, appropriate accommodations they need for their learning differences. We act as your guide to navigate special education laws, advocating on your child's behalf and helping you understand academic data to determine if a challenge is a school issue, a home issue, or both. Finally, we support parents directly through parent coaching, which provides real, practical support for the daily challenges of parenting a neurodiverse child. We offer skills-based coaching with concrete, actionable strategies, behavior plans, and tools to help manage daily executive functioning challenges like homework, transitions, and or
