I work with adults and youth and their families as a therapist and coach to help mitigate the impacts of ADHD and associated emotional problems, such as depression and anxiety, on everyday life. Working together, we can develop individualized approaches toward changing an individual’s relationship with ADHD. I work with my clients to develop means of useing various ADHD traits for our benefit while gaining skills to manage distractibility, impulsive behavior, disorganization, awkward social skills, time distortions and more.Working within the context of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, I assist my clients in relieving the depression, anxiety and general stress that comes to be associated with ADHD. ADHD and accompanying emotional states need not get in the way of leading a fulfilling, successful life. I provide assessment, treatment and referrals to physicians and other resources to aid my clients in creating a comprehensive approach to living and working with ADHD.
