• Clinical Specialization With extensive experience in addressing ADHD-related concerns, I provide services for individuals across a broad age range, from young children as young as four years old to adults up to age sixty-five. My clinical practice centers on conducting thorough, evidence-based evaluations, ensuring an accurate diagnosis of ADHD. I am dedicated to offering effective treatment options, thoughtfully tailored to each individual's unique needs and strengths. I also incorporate magic into my clinical work with kids and teens. Beyond direct clinical work, I contribute to the advancement of the field by serving as a member of CHADD’s national Board of Directors, where I actively participate in public education initiatives. Additionally, as a member of PsyPact, I am available to provide teleservices to residents of most states. • Leadership and Advocacy My professional activities extend beyond the clinical setting to include leadership and advocacy roles (e.g., I’m a Past President of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association). In the realm of child clinical psychology, I co-chaired a state-level task force focused on developing standards for mental health evaluations for youth. Furthermore, I have authored books on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for children, as well as resources designed to help parents foster resilience in their children (e.g., a parenting book on promoting resilience in youth, a blog focused on parenting strategies). Through these publications, I strive to share best practices and practical strategies with both professionals and families. • Treatment Focus and Areas of Expertise In my clinical work, I address common questions such as “Does my child have ADHD?” and “Do I have ADHD?” by providing clear and comprehensive assessments. My expertise also includes the treatment of co-occurring conditions that frequently accompany ADHD in children, teens, and adults, such as defiance, depression, anxiety, and trauma. Recognizing the complexity of ADHD, I offer executive functioning coaching, enabling clients to enhance their organizational skills, manage daily challenges, and support their overall development. • Couple’s Counseling My practice also incorporates couple’s counseling, with a particular focus on relationships in which one partner has ADHD. I use an integrated therapeutic approach that combines behavioral therapy and emotionally focused therapy to guide couples through the unique dynamics introduced by ADHD. This approach is designed to help partners communicate effectively, better understand each other’s experiences, and build stronger, more resilient relationships.
