I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in San Diego CA. I have experience with ADHD and adults and also am a member of the American Professional Society and Related Disorders, (APSARD), CHADD and ADDA. My interest encompass ADHD across the lifespan into older age. I also enjoy working with couples, assisting in helping the couple to understand how to communicate more effectively when one or both persons may have undiagnosed ADHD. I use a strengths based CBT Conceptualization, along with motivational interviewing. Many people with ADHD have co-occurring issues with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and Bipolar disorder. I use use screening assessments in our work together to monitor changes.. Working together, I strive to empower clients in working together in finding one's strengths. I provide a safe, emotionally supportive environment, to help individuals understand and come to terms with what a diagnoses of ADHD means, and how to maximize one's potential utilizing knowledge, hope and creativity.
