ADHD Treatment and Your ChildAsk The Expert

 August 18, 2026 6:00-7:00 PM ET

Elaine Taylor-Klaus, MCC, CPCC

Do you feel confused, overwhelmed, or undecided about which ADHD treatment is right for your child? And if treatment is already underway, do you wonder whether it’s still the best fit?

Join us to learn how to approach ADHD treatment as an ongoing process rather than a one-time fix. We’ll bust common myths, discuss how to evaluate your child’s current treatment. and explore what to consider when it’s time to make a change. We’ll also cover how to shift from directing your child’s care to collaborating with them, so they’re invested in the supports that work for them.

Objectives:

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize that ADHD treatment needs to change over time, and that there’s no single “right” combination that works for every child or stays fixed forever.
  • Identify priorities and goals for treatment and evaluate whether a chosen approach is working.
  • Apply a strengths-based, collaborative approach that builds a child’s sense of ownership and sets them up for success.
