Dr. Jacobs is a clinical psychologist with over twenty years of experience in child, adolescent and adult therapy. Her broad experience in psychodiagnostic evaluations, individual therapy and family therapy has included a focus on developmental disorders, such as attention deficit disorder and learning disabilities, as well as assessing mood and behavioral difficulties. She has worked extensively with children and families who are experiencing the impact of such issues as divorce, stepfamilies, single parent households and dual career couples. In addition, Dr. Jacobs has served as a consultant to several social service agencies, medical practices and legal services in her work as a psychologist. Dr. Jacobs received her Ph.D. in 1984 from University of Illinois at Chicago in Clinical-Developmental Psychology.
