Katherine Wald, LCSW is a psychotherapist and ADHD coach in private practice in Miami. She not only specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD, but also has ADHD and learning differences herself. Through learning to compensate, Ms. Wald graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University undergrad and with honors from The University of Pennsylvania for graduate school. Ms. Wald works with the psychological issues associated with ADHD such as low self-esteem due to social skills difficulties, as well as some of the behavioral problems. She teaches time management and organizational skills, as well as ways to utilize a person's strengths to compensate for their areas of weakness. She is also a Certified EMDR Therapist, a Certified Clinical Supervisor, and has advanced training in Clinical Hypnosis. Sessions are available through telehealth.
