Study Details

This study will explore African American parents’ experiences with mental health support after their child’s ADHD diagnosis.

You might want to participate because your contribution would be assisting in exploring the barriers to mental health literacy for African American parents, enhance knowledge about mental health services, and how to reduce disparities for African Americans by increasing awareness about mental health support.

You can participate in the study if you or are:

  • Over the age of 18
  • An African American parent with a child diagnosed with ADHD
  • Previously received mental health support relating to ADHD
  • English speaking
  • Residing in the geographical area of the United States
