Study Details

Virginia Tech researchers are recruiting 400 participants, for a research study about employees with ADHD that experience feelings of burnout in the workplace (IRB #25-963). You may be eligible to participate in this study if you are diagnosed with ADHD, are at least 18 years of age, English-speaking, and are currently employed.

Participation will consist of completion of an online survey that tests your autonomous & controlled motivation, basic psychological need satisfaction, feelings of burnout, and job demands/ resources. Along with the survey, you will be asked to provide an email of someone who is neurotypical (i.e., has not been diagnosed with a neurodivergent related condition). If you agree to take part in this research study, all participants will be eligible for a drawing for 1 of 5 $50 gift cards. The odds of being selected are 1 in 80 because we plan to enroll 400 participants.
