The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) is conducting an outpatient research study on the effect of impulsivity on the developing brain in children and adolescents.
What the study involves:
- A visit, lasting 2 to 8 hours to the outpatient clinic at the NIH Clinical Center
- Brain scan (without radiation)
- Tests of learning and memory
- Blood draw or saliva sample for genetic tests
Compensation and transportation assistance may be provided
Participants may qualify if:
- Between ages 6 and 17
- Medically Healthy
- Live in the DC, MD, VA region
