Exposure to ‘safe’ levels of air pollution during pregnancy increases children’s risk of ADHD, study finds
Youngsters whose expectant mothers lived in homes with fine-air particle pollution have thinner outer layers of their brains, which is associated with ADHD, a study found today. For every 0.005g increase in fine particles, certain regions of the brain become 0.045mm thinner, the research adds.
