Your child has been diagnosed with ADHD, now what?

Once your child has a formal diagnosis, the doctor will give you information about the condition and recommend a course of treatment. You will probably have some questions and concerns about your child’s diagnosis and how ADHD will affect your child’s health and life. In this webinar, Dr. Arnold provides parents with information that they should know before their visit. He provides parents with information about different treatment options and ways parents can prepare to discuss the different options with their child’s doctor.

 About the Presenter

L. Eugene Arnold, MEd, MD, is professor emeritus of Psychiatry at Ohio State University. For his work on the multi-site NIMH Multimodal Treatment Study of Children with ADHD (“the MTA”) he received the NIH Director’s Award. His publications include 9 books, 70 chapters, and 300 articles. Dr. Arnold is the resident science expert for CHADD’s National Resource Center on ADHD and a former member of CHADD’s Professional Advisory Board.
