Research Participants Wanted

My name is Alexandra Pope, and I am conducting a research study to fulfill the requirements for a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School.

The purpose of this study is to develop a greater understanding of the lived experiences, and perspectives of adults with ADHD as well as understand the impact of social media on the diagnosis.

You may participate in this study if:

• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You are currently residing in the United States.
• You are experiencing symptoms of ADHD or have received a diagnosis of ADHD.

During this study, you will be asked to complete a survey about your lived experience with ADHD, your diagnostic process (or lack thereof), treatment experience including medication effectiveness, and severity of symptoms over the course of your life thus far. This survey will last about 15 to 20 minutes. You will be asked to complete this study via Google Forms. After completion, you will have the option to engage in a follow-up interview via Zoom that will last up to 30 minutes. You will be able to indicate whether you wish to participate in this or not at the end of the survey. If you wish to participate, you will be asked to provide your email address to schedule the interview.
