CHADD Receives 2026 Power of Associations Gold Award for the National Resource Center on ADHD
LANHAM, MD — CHADD has been honored with a 2026 ASAE Power of Associations Gold Award by the American Society
of Association Executives (ASAE) in recognition of the National Resource Center on ADHD, an outstanding initiative that demonstrates the powerful role associations play in solving challenges, strengthening industries and professions, and improving communities.
The ASAE Power of Associations Awards recognize associations that bring people together, build strong partnerships, and create lasting change. Award recipients show how associations can use programs, collaboration, and advocacy to strengthen professions, support communities, and make a difference far beyond their own membership.
CHADD’s National Resource Center on ADHD helps individuals, families, educators, and healthcare professionals access reliable, evidence-based information about ADHD diagnosis, treatment, and support. This information helps people make informed decisions and succeed in education, relationships, the workplace, and managing their health. The National Resource Center on ADHD (NRC) is supported through a cooperative agreement with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Its health education materials are reviewed by CHADD’s professional advisory board and CDC staff for accuracy and alignment with current research.
NRC resources contribute to the nearly 5.5 million visits CHADD’s website receives each year, while more than 2,200 people contact the NRC Helpline annually for information and referrals. Since April 2021, nearly 8,000 healthcare professionals have registered for NRC-developed ADHD courses, and approximately 5,000 have earned continuing education credits. The NRC also reaches audiences through CHADD’s social media platforms, newsletters, Attention magazine, national partnerships, ADHD Awareness Month, and the International Conference on ADHD.
“ASAE’s Power of Associations Awards recognize the very best of what our community can accomplish,” said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE, AAiP. “This recognition honors organizations that don’t simply advance their own missions—they bring people together to solve complex challenges, strengthen industries and professions, and create lasting benefits for society. CHADD has demonstrated the vision, leadership, and commitment to make a meaningful difference, and we are proud to recognize the National Resource Center on ADHD as one of this year’s outstanding achievements.”
“This recognition from ASAE highlights the important role CHADD’s National Resource Center on ADHD plays in connecting people with reliable information, practical resources, and a community that understands,” said Laurie Kulikosky, FASAE, CAE, chief executive officer of CHADD. “I am incredibly proud of our staff, whose expertise and care make this work possible, and deeply grateful to our volunteers, professional advisers, partners, and CDC colleagues, whose collaboration helps us reach and serve people affected by ADHD across the country.”
