Only 1 in 10 Kids With ADHD Will Outgrow It
Only about one in 10 kids with the disorder are likely to have a full and lasting remission of their symptoms, according to new data gleaned from tracking hundreds of kids for 16 years. The rest will have ADHD symptoms fade in and out as they grow from children to teens to adults, said lead researcher Margaret Sibley, an associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the University of Washington School of Medicine, in Seattle.
