Although rejection is not enjoyable for anyone, it can trigger an overwhelming emotional response in people with rejection sensitive dysphoria (RSD). Although researchers are still unsure why, it seems that people with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) may be more susceptible to RSD.
