Why Did the FDA Approve This New High-Dose ADHD Drug?
A new time-released formulation of a drug used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat children as young as six years old. It’s called Adhansia XR and its active ingredient is methylphenidate, which has been used to treat ADHD for more than 50 years.
