I assess an individual's academic skills and strategies. Using that knowledge, I craft an individual educational remediation program to teach each student the skills and strategies needed so that each person can close academic gaps and learn how to learn. I partner with each struggling student who learns how to be a successful, independent learner who maximizes his/her own potential. ADHD coaching is an integral part of my program so that each student understands both their strengths and the nature of the disability. Mastering executive function skills is a core component of our work. Parent coaching is available to facilitate this growth. Special education and school consultation is provided. I work with adults to develop workplace skills and strategies to get and keep jobs. Besides, working with students with dyslexia, other learning disorders, dysgraphia, written language disorders, dyscalculia, and language processing issues, I see students who have anxiety and depression.
