Study Details

Hello parents! We need to listen to the voice of parents of 7- to 12-year-old child with ADHD to help with a study at UBC!

What do we do?

  • We are studying the interactions of parents of children with ADHD. Parents will be asked to share their experiences of parenting a child with ADHD, along with their partner.

We are looking for participants who meet he following criteria:

  • Have one or more 7- to 12-year-old child diagnosed with ADHD.
  • Are willing to participate in a semi-structured interview with the researcher.
  • Can speak English fluently.

We will ask the participants to do the following:

  • To complete an online screening survey to confirm their eligibility.
  • If invited, to attend a 60–90-minute interview remotely, sharing their experience as lead interviewers in their previous semi-structured interviews.
    • The parent participants will be involved in a Zoom interview.
    • Appointments will be scheduled for families to at a time convenient for them (e.g., evenings, weekends).

Participation in this research project is entirely voluntary, and all the information obtained from participants will be kept confidential.
